What is Music Therapy?
Since the beginning of time, music has had a profound affect on human behavior. It has allowed us to tap into emotion, and to express ourselves in endless ways. Music, as a nonverbal means of communication, can help heal, calm, make us happy, and release anger.
Music Therapy as a definition is the scientific appplication of the art of music to accomplish therapeutic aims; the restoration, maintenance, and improvement of mental and physical health.
What Can Music Do For You?
"Even babies can benefit from music's universal language."
-- Lawrence Carlson, RMT
